ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Appointments will open Tuesday afternoon for a mass COVID-19 vaccination site at the Atlantic City Convention Center, where 31,000 first doses will be given.
Appointments can be scheduled on AtlantiCare’s website. Eligible recipients must create an AtlantiCare account to secure an appointment at the Atlantic City Convention Center's mega-site, the healthcare system said in a statement.
After all appointments are filled for this event, AtlantiCare’s weekly scheduling events will pause. However, individuals can still log in to their accounts to check for additional appointments that might become available.
Online scheduling will open on the following days and times:
“As of (Friday) we’ve delivered more than 129,000 doses at the site,” said Sherrie Bragg, the clinical facility manager of the Atlantic City's mega-site. “We are grateful for the community’s continued patience and support as we work to curb the spread of COVID-19 in our community and to end the pandemic.”
State officials have expanded vaccinations to a wider group of eligible recipients. Starting Monday, additional frontline essential workers can book vaccine appointments, including grocery store and restaurant workers, hospitality staff and clergy.
